Craftine Box : the end of winter box has arrived!

Craftine Box : the end of winter box has arrived!

Here is the latest Craftine Box : the end of winter box. A box which sings with deep colour, a touch of sparkle and an incredible softness. This box offers you sumptuous materials with a perfect mix of fabrics. With chic and on-trend trims, plus two fashion patterns with styling advice, this new box has everything to delight you. Choosing from the Softly Softly look or the Urban Cavalier, you’ll be able to create a stylish outfit to make you shine.

Here are the contents of your surprise sewing box :

Cognac is an on-trend colour which, in 2019, is the new black, a warmer, richer basic. With a palette which can range from pumpkin orange to chocolate brown, cognac is a colour which originates in the ‘leather’ or ‘equestrian’ wardrobe. Bringing with it a little touch of 70’s retro you see it used in tops as well as bottoms.

Velvet is a fabric which is making a big come-back. It’s everywhere this season. We’ve given it a twist with a black stretch ribbed lurex contrasting fabric and big gold buttons to give both garments a naval touch, very in vogue right now.

Our ideas for the contents

To go with the soft fabric we have designed two new sewing patterns for you  : The Groseille dress and the Papaye jumper. Mixing the velvet, the ribbed stretch lurex and the gold buttons gives you the perfect combination to make these up to the minute designs. Plus, a little extra surprise this month: make a sparkly brooch with the help of our tutorial. You’ll find all the information below.

Suggestion #1 : SOFTLY SOFTLY

The Groseille dress is a fashion gem you absolutely need in your wardrobe. Very feminine, soft and daring, it will flatter all body shapes with its ribbed waistband and V neck.

Worn with flat boots, a chunky cardigan and accessorised  with a long necklace and a turban headband, this dress with a 70’s vibe has everything to win you over.

Suggestion #2 : URBAN CAVALIER

The Papaye jumper is a feminine jumper with an up to date look. Easy to wear to the office or to the restaurant, we love its fashionable button detail on the shoulder and contrasting ribbed neckline.

Worn with boots and a little houndstooth checked skirt which goes beautifully with the deep cognac colour, the urban cavalier look is all yours. Saddle up!
